The SwitchBot K10 Plus is a great option for those who want a powerful vacuum that can also mop. The small size of this robot allows it to reach areas that larger robots cannot, such as corners and under furniture. It also has a LiDAR sensor that can detect obstacles and help avoid collisions.

In our testing during our testing, the K10 Plus vacuumed up pet hair as well as crumbs and other debris quickly and efficiently from our carpet. It also did an excellent job of getting into tight places such as under our bed or around the chair's legs. Although it may leave some dust behind in these areas in the event that the corner brush isn't spinning fast enough, its powerful motor more than compensates for this.

In iRobot's tests in the lab, the S9+ picked up kitty-litter and pet hair effortlessly. It also performed exceptionally on hard floors, where its powerful motor was able to take on all types of floors and edges and corners easily. Its vSLAM technology is the most advanced. You can select the functions you want to start during the initial set up process, or wait until you've had a better feel for how it functions. The internal bin has to be empty manually when it is full, but the process only takes 15 minutes and is fairly quiet.

The most recent version of the Roborock S series is an impressive robot vacuum and mop combo with a robust set of features. Like its predecessors, it utilizes an LIDAR sensor and camera system for navigation and obstacle avoidance. The application's mapping system creates an interactive 3D map of your home that allows you to mark certain rooms for spot cleaning or to set up no-go zones. The app lets you manage the robot's schedule and also select different cleaning and mopping modes for each room.

The S8 is equipped with improved HyperForce suction that is able to remove fine hair and particles with ease. The app allows you to modify the suction power. The device can automatically switch between energy efficient 'Quiet' 'Balanced', and 'Turbo" modes based on the surface that it is cleaning. There's also a carpet Suction Boost' feature that boosts suction when the robot is on carpets.

You can manage the S8 with one button that doubles as a general 'Clean button, or an 'Spot Clean' button to direct the robot to that specific area. Press the 'Dock/Home' button to send the robot to its home station. The app comes with a rich feature set and is easy to use. You can even select the time you charge your phone off-peak in order to save money on peak time power.

The only issue with the S8 is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like. It only lasted 130 minutes when I was using it on normal settings with both vacuuming and mopping enabled. This is still a long time, and enough to wash my apartment.
